The more we use artificial intelligence, the more value we place on emotional intelligence.
Granizados Maresme was pleased to participate in the 12th Economic Conference organized by the City Council of Pineda de Mar and the Alt Maresme, sitting at the same table with leading professionals to discuss a topic that will shape the future of our companies: artificial intelligence… and emotional intelligence.
One very clear insight emerged from the event: we are increasingly convinced that AI is not here to replace our intelligence, but to enhance it.
At Granizados Maresme, we’re already using this technology, and, quite frankly, we believe that very soon it will be seamlessly integrated into virtually all ERP systems and business processes.
The real risk isn’t that artificial intelligence will take our jobs away. The real risk is that we’ll stop thinking.
That, in order to save time or effort, we end up accepting answers without questioning them, without that discernment that can only be acquired after many years of making decisions—getting some right and getting others wrong.
Because if we delegate our judgment to AI, we run the risk of making our work mediocre and, over time, our talent as well. Automating tasks is a huge advantage. Automating thought, on the other hand, can set us back.
Technology will continue to evolve, and we must evolve with it.
But we hope we never forget that creativity, intuition, empathy, common sense, and experience remain profoundly human.
