For years, we’ve referred to ourselves as “the happiness factory.” But today we want to tell you about an organization that deserves that title far more than we do.

❤️ There are times when recognition comes unexpectedly, without us even seeking it—and that’s precisely why it feels even more valuable.

🤝 Recently, at Granizados Maresme, we had the honor of participating in the 2025 Corporate Appreciation Event organized by Aldees Infantils SOS Catalunya, and we want to share with you just how special this has been for us—for each and every one of us who makes up this small but great team that is Granizados Maresme.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 We are proud to receive this recognition from an organization like Aldees Infantils, which has more than 75 years of history caring for children and supporting vulnerable families. We’re proud because this isn’t just a one-time collaboration; it reflects our view of the company as a tool that can—and should—have a positive impact on the community—something that’s often discussed in business schools but isn’t always put into practice, especially among small and medium-sized businesses.

🌱 In our day-to-day work, we talk about products, distribution, quality, innovation… but there’s a quiet side to what we do that’s also worth paying attention to: our social commitment. Many of you already know us and are aware that we like to identify with the slogan “The Happiness Factory”—and we have our reasons for doing so. However, that’s nothing compared to the happiness generated and shared by Aldees Infantils and its entire team.

🧒 Our work with Aldees Infantils is an opportunity to listen, to learn, and to remember why it’s worth going the extra mile. Truly, every time we participate in an event with these children, their families, and the members of Aldees Infantils, we feel something special. An almost infinite sense of personal satisfaction and, most importantly, the emotional commitment of so many people to these children who so desperately need, among other things, love and care.
